If I really like a book I read it all too fast and I have found in those cases that I don't remember it as well as when I take my time.

Btw, GreenChef... I have to agree with the bad comparison, considering Harry Potter is a character in a book. (But I understand what you mean.) Stephen King has appeared in a novel though, as himself even. I've heard Clive Barker is really good, though I have yet to give him a read. Any suggestions?
