totally out dated post.... if you've not already found your perfect feathered friend.....you could always find a local bird rescue..... Petfinder.com has all sorts of birds listed
I loved my blue crested amazon... he was a vicious basterd unless he landed on the floor....

actually, thanks for the bump post bamakyttn, I've been rethinking about it yet again..I'm just so busy I find it unfair to only have one, and if I have more than one it is more work, even though don't get me wrong, I love 'em! Since x-mas time is rolling around, my b/f has been talking about surprising me with one or two...but I'd need to get an air filter b/c when his mom is here she smokes..and that causes a problem for the poor birds...oh well, we'll see!

I was thinking of getting a bird. They can be great companions.
These are pretty, but I don't know what breed they are.
