OK Doomsday.......I know your neck of the woods! I lived in Camden county and then Gloucester county and then back to Camden county before moving here to Montgomery county in Pennsylvania. I, too, live about 45 minutes from Philly now. I vacation in the summer in Cape May county. I grew up near National Park, New Jersey in a town called Thorofare. Graduated from West Deptford High School in 1976........arrgggggg! Lived in Camden till I was 4, moved to Thorofare and then Pennsauken, and a little time in Cherry Hill....then we moved to "Bumfucked Egypt". Just a little 411 to help you know I can relate to your feelings about New Jersey. I always said that state had a dark cloud looming over it. LOL!

My husband and I sold everything we owned except our Camaro, our cat and our scuba gear.......back in 1997.......and moved to Key Largo, Fl. with no job prospects and no real destination. We ended up in Key Largo for 5 months and I have to say it was one of the most wonderful times of my life! If his boss in Pa. hadn't "made him an offer he couldn't refuse", we would still be there sipping marguirita's on the dock and swimming with the manatees! But if it DID suddenly end tomorrow......I could adjust to the fall.....knowing I took a chance and didn't sit and wonder what it would be like to make a change!
