Did you see your bird yesterday?
I know that “bird” has a special meaning in the UK, and that’s not the kind I’m talking about. (although it was the kind I was looking for.  )
I know that some people refer to certain part of the male anatomy as their “bird” also. That’s not it either. 
The Audubon Society sponsors The Christmas Bird Count, a notional inventory of our wild birds sampled coast to coast, simultaneously, by armature and professional ornithologists. Just wondered if we had any reporting birders in our group?
