Actually, a Toyota Tercel. First year I thought it was great, but that ended dramatically as soon as the warranty ran out. About everything that could go wrong did so. Then the dealer somehow failed to rust proof the car (we paid him to) and the body just about disintegrated by the time we got rid of it. Can't imagine ever having another "toy."

It was the last car that I had until three weeks ago (for only two weeks). It was a Fiat Uno. First I thought it was only strange how lightweight was the back part of it. Now I think it would perhaps not have finished in that 4 meters (12 feet) deep moat if the weight would have been more balanced.
Besides that - because I am rather tall - it was an awfully small car. Bad construction - the doors had lots of entries for rain water but no exit...
I am now looking forward to getting my new twelve years old Opel Kadett.

It was the first car I ever bought with my own earnings.....it drove like a dream from the Used Car dealership........I was out on my own after my first marriage....determined to do things for myself....(couldn't take a friggin mechanic with me to check her out, huh?)........she was a 1982 Creme/black interior, Camaro. She was so perty! I looked so f*****g good in her! I drove her for 3 months.......funny thing...the warranty was a three month one too! All of a sudden.......she wasn't riding so smooth. I had my boyfriend check her out......(he's my hubby now but not because of this incident).....he was a diesal mechanic at the time and didn't know much about gas engines.......but it was all there.......water in the oil, knocking and a pinging.......he thought it was the head gaskets.......investigated......it was a cracked block, rigged to out-live the warranty......needed a new motor....I was still paying on the car.....couldn't afford that.......wala.....junk! But, oh...she was so perty!

Prob the worst ride ever was the 69 Olds Delta 88 wife had when we first married...her dad picked it out for her, even tho it was her money, & she hated it, as I learned to loathe it too...not too many mech. probs, but it was heavy as a tank, with the 455 cu.in. engine, got terrible gas milage, & we were a poor newlywed couple trying to make ends meet during the heat of the Enery Crunch & the resulting recession...we had to take a loan to fill the tank...

My first - and last - car, 70s-something Chevy Vega. Not a city car. Low clearance (almost cracked an axel in big pothole), no power steering, bitch to parallel park in tight city spaces. But it was red with white cabriolet top (snazzy) and behaved like a small tank in my first full-blown Chicago blizzard. Actually rescued a taxi with it. Soon after, returned car to suburban land that spawned it.

A AMC Gremlin!! LOL it was banana yellow and totally rusted out. Parked outside my apartment someone slashed 2 tires. They should've just set the damn thing on fire. LMAO I hated that car. Thank god for the Wayne's World Movie because then finally someone wanted to buy it.
