				???How In The Hell????

Does one know when a papaya is ripe and what do I do with it when it is?
Right now it feels like a firm breast, kind of gives a bit yet still holds it's own... |

	| Slice it open and enjoy.... Slurper of course. When I eat cherries,I have to hold it by the stem and twirl my tongue around it a few times before I bite ino it.Never mastered tying a knot in the stem though. Now don't get Freudian on me,but I never liked Bananas.Only fruit I don't eat,

Yeah, that's a ripe papaya. Applies to a lot of fruit. Cut it open and eat the inside, just scoop out the seeds fromthe hollow in the middle.

	| Lilith a Papaya is when the outside skin is still mostly green with a tinge of yellow , they are ready to eat. If allowed to ripen until they are almost all yellow, you'll have a mushy papaya suitable only for recipes that call for pureed papaya! Hope this helps!
