Thats very cool. So now maybe we can discovery whether it's ice or silica lurking at the bottom of those craters. That would be kinda neat to see ice forming on a planet that close to the sun.
Nasa could have chosen a better name for this mission though. Messenger? Did B. Gates purchase the branding rights? For a Mercury probe I would have called it Thermometer One.
No, wait. Don't throw that. No.... not the tomatoes....Gak.
