I know this is going to be a bit..uh disgusting but I'd like to know. I've been to several other forums and I've seen a common thread and wondered. What is the fascination with 'enemas'?

Personally I use enemas as preparation for anal. It's not a nice feeling to be full and then try shove something else up there.
Other people enjoy the sensations from having an enema. The feeling of being filled can be quite arousing to some people. Men can find the prostate stimulated by the flow of warm water over it.
And for some it's the 'taboo' aspect - that fact that to many it IS disgusting, unpleasant or weird.
Why do any fetishes turn people on? Often, they just do.

I've also used it as a preparation for anal....
And find it uncomfortable more than arousing....i also get bad cramps in the stomach afterwards

I too like to get an enema in preperation to anal sex. The obvious discomfort has already been stated but there are a few perks too.
While the enema is being administered, its a grand time to fondle the one receiving it, a little spanking, a little rubbing even a little buzzzzz from a favourite toy will make the experience much more pleasureable.
What's a little cramping in comparison to all the pleasure that is about to cummmm?

And on the topic of discomfort - cramping is usally a sign that the water is too cold. Cold-water enemas are used by Doms as punishment.
On the other hand - there aren't any temperature nerves in the rectum, so make sure you don't make the water TOO hot!!
And don't ask me how you know if it's too hot or too cold. You just do! lol!

The water i use is definately not cold....but below scalding hot
No matter what the temp(and i've experimented) i still get the cramps
But like has been said....i can cope with it for the resulting pleasure

I use a Fleet's enema when I prepare for anal. Warmed, it causes less cramping. The cramping goes away after the enema "works" anyway...
I don't really enjoy them other than thinking about what lies ahead!!!
