I had decided to hang an ornament on the local hospice's annual Tree of Rememberance in honor of Skipthisone and today was the day I felt strong enough about him to not get choked up and bawl in the mall where the tree is located. The money donated for the ornaments goes to help terminally ill patients and their families. I felt like this was a donation that made a statement being as how most of these people don't want to die and I am still currently pissed at STO for making a poor choice....welllllllllllll anyhow.....

As I am filling out the little note that gets tied to the ornament, which are these lovely porcelain bells and christmas trees, the old man from the rotary club finds this 1 ornament at the bottom that is an angel bell, but it's broke. It was missing one wing and the man said, "guess he's only 1/2 way to heaven" and he started to throw it out. I stopped him and said, " that's for me...my friend always thought he was broken but to me he was perfect" and so there is a broken angel on my town's tree of rememberance with the message ~ Skipthisone~ I never could have....Love ya! Lilith

One of those smiling through the tears kinds of smiles I suppose.
