We all tend to believe that what we believe is correct, no matter what that might be. The polarization which characterized this last election did not appear overnight, nor is it likely to disappear because the election is now past. Nor should it prevent us from enjoying ourselves here. I do believe that there was another federal election recently, one which touched the lives of several of our members, and they all seemed to come through it with no ill effects, although I suspect they did not all vote the same way.
