hehe yep i also have reptiles and amphibians..in my area (as i used to work at vet hospitals) i haven't found anyone giving away what i was thinking about, shelters don't have any in my area either (i've checked recently)-all cat's and dogs pretty much

I'd get another parakeet maybe, but that's still a sore subject for me....so yes been totally doing the research needed....i'm just seeing the opinions of what you guys like best, I know when my heart is ready I"ll make the right choice, thanks!
