Spent some time trying to explain to someone why we don't typically a/s/l in the chatroom. Maybe it's just me...

For those of you who typcally chat, how do you feel when people enter the room and then a/s/l? or the minute you enter the room they a/s/l?

[sexist attitude] I always thought this was a guy thing but have seen a lady or two recently who are very pushy about wanting everybody's A/S/L [/sexism] Am wondering if it's more a personality thing or what?
