Well I personally think jealousy an ignorant thing (there is too much other fruit on the tree)...but there was an old american indian way of cutting a woman's nose down the middle...then when it healed it looked like the part of their body that got them in trouble...gruesome.

As an aside. I actually had worked with a guy that cheated on his wife and when she found out she punched him a few times and when he didnt fight back she came up to him as if to hug him and bit the end of his nose off.
