Hanging out & holding up my corner of the local ICU waiting room...my husband is in the Neurological ICU due to a broken back. He fell asleep driving home from work yesterday morning & annihilated the 1994 Toyota Tacoma single cab truck he was driving. Only serious injury was the broken back. A flipping miracle since he was sans seatbelt! Only other injury was a minor cut on the bridge of his nose that required 2 stitches. His back required surgery to remove bone shards that were digging into his spinal cord.
