Nowhere Bama did i state that a predatory fish could not EVER have feeder fish, it is a fact that using them though as a SOLE part of a fishes diet is not good for them. I used to own oscars, also fed them on occassion feeder fish, i used to stun the feeder so that it death was not unecessarily cruel. The main staple of a fishes diet should be a good pellet or frozen food, these food are designed to meet the requirements of the fishes diet.

I never said EVERY person that has been given an animal regarded it as disposable. As far as more humane, I have a dog right now that two other pixies have seen is in bad enough shape to affect his quality of life and yet the "humane" vets REFUSE to euthanize him. A retired working dog who has had at least one perhaps more strokes in his back, he cannot even navigate the three steps into the house, he cannot scratch any itch on his body he doesn't have the coordination. <rest cont. privately>
and please do tell me How did you stun your feeders? drop a live wire into their tank? ah how I enjoy electrocution...... wait that was the lil girl from Addams Family
you can't sedate them that is harmful to your predatory fish
put the feeders in a bag and shake vigorously so they pass out?
anyone ever pissed on an electric fence?
