Sometimes the unsubscribe link is a hoak.
when click unsubscribe links or send the unsubscribe email the spammers actually use it as a way to verify the address. So instead of getting removed from one mailling list you get added to 20 others.

Some sites actually unsubscribe you for say 30 days then add u back again.
