OK, this may sound completely radical, but how about staying the whole night and telling your folks that you're planning on having a night away in a nice hotel with your girlfriend so you can have a romantic weekend together. You're both WELL over the age of consent, in a committed relationship got your college degrees - you're adults and entitled to spend quality time with your partner. It's not unreasonable.
