While I was fumbling through the erection of that post I see everybody has been busy too.

I DID want to add that I think you will be SO blown away with the 'RIGHT-NOW' action of your new system with any high speed connection that you may just want to shop price for now. The small hair splitting differences and trade-offs will not be important for a long time to you.

As for transferring your data from the old machine, I guess my suggestion was more pertinent than I thought. That IS a good option to consider after seeing your additional post.

As for disabling your old puter, remember the data is in the hard drive, not on the mother board. When you are sure you have moved everything (and ONLY what you want moved) to the new one, you can just click the 'command of death' and FORMAT the HD. That WILL remove everything, forever!
