Hmmmmmm, a favorite place for me have been the times we've rented rooms at "fantasy" motels. The Don Q near Madison, WI; the Fantasuite in Muscatine, IA; and another Fantasuite near West Bend, WI. Fantastic atmosphere and loads of fun (although a bit pricey on weekends).
