There used to be a saying, ‘It could only happen in America’ but now the world has gone crazy. A case in point, yesterday in London, a man was convicted of manslaughter for killing a burglar who attacked him brandishing a meat cleaver. The defendant claimed self-defence as he thought his children were in the upstairs bedroom, where the robber has just come out of. Justice?? Who knows, but if you can go to jail for protecting your family, why not sue the government for misinformation (amongst other things). |
