1. I got a note from my sweetheart early, early this morning, saying that his stepmother had passed away and that he was waiting to hear when the service would be in order to make an inpromptu trip back to Kentucky. These are the times I hate long-distance relationships most of all.

2. I'm getting down to crunch time, but I think--honestly--that things will be okay.

3. I think I needed some relaxation this weekend with my children.
