I got a new puter today....finally. While not what i originally wanted, this is brilliant and i am loving it so far. I have been without a puter for the last 2-3 days, due to the monitor only turning on when it felt like it, sooooooooo this was an "ï need it now'' thing

I bought an off the shelf Compaq Presario (same brand as my old puter). It came with a 22" monitor, which is HUGE *L* Also it runs Win 7, which i am also loving, so far anyway *L*

But now i got orlify/fangtasiafy it to my satisfaction

Happy for you, Fangtasia! My son's got Windows 7 on his machine and loves it, also! :)

I love my new laptop too. I am giving up a desktop. We have others in the house I can use if need be. I am liking W7 but still am not sure what all I can do with it yet.

That should keep her busy for the next month. :rolleyes2

Cool and congrats yeah I have an Aspire 7520 running Vista want to upgrade to 7 but don't Have the $$$

Well i'm still loving the new puter, infact the more i use it the more i REALLY love Win7.

I've managed now to my old programs running that i've installed so far, some were tricky *L* Printer is installed and running with no problems, Modem working, network was a bit tricky, but i think we've got that sorted now.

Still more programs to load, so hopefully they will all play nicely *L*

Win7 is the ants pants, bees knees, ducks guts & best thing since sliced bread *LOL*

My youngest demon spawn is under the weather today, so i've been relaxing playing games (Diablo 2) on the new puter, while nursing him.

Ooooooo loving gaming on this *L* so smooth and quick
