I think dog fighting is sick Hunting with a dog is a work animal fighting them is just torture opinions ?

I think raising anything to fight is cruel.

One of my first memories is of cuddling up next to our German shepherd when I was toddler. I've loved dogs basically all of my life and the thought of pitting them against each other as some sort of "sport" just sickens me.

Today I heard someone saying that Mr. Vick was just showing his love for the animals by letting them show how strong they are..........

I was hoping this was going to a complete the sentence thread you start with "Mike Vick" and I end the sentence with "should die in a fire."

Never heard of Mike Vick, but I don't believe in blood sports of any kind, animal or human.

Got this pic of Mr Vick from a friend this morning.

Dog fighting/cock fighting/bear and badger fighting/bull fighting are all relics of a more savage past, but sadly probably also a more savage future.

Still no excuse.

God, I hope that's not true. I assumed it was for the love of the dollar (and pathetic bragging rights).

Yep, I hope he enjoys playing pickup games in the big house because he won't see an NFL field again for quite some time, if ever.
