Probably *the* most celebrated erotica novel ever & I haven't read it yet. I've never seen a copy. I grew up on Henry Miller & Anais Nin but haven't found this book yet!

There is also a movie based on the book.I have never seen it and I don't know who is in it,but most reviews say it followes the story well.Steph,like you I am a big fan of Henry Miller and Anais Nin.Also D.H.Laurence.Did you ever read Lady Chatterley's Lover or Women in Love? I read The Story of O a long time ago and still have the copy.I should probably read it again.

I found a copy of this book cleaning out after a tennant moved. I have started it but haven't finished yet. Pretty good so far. ;)

Just got a copy about a week ago and I'm still working on it. Strange I may have gotten it on it's anniversary. :) Is an excellent read for anyone into the BD/SM thing, or those just curious about it.
