Abbreviations
 

Everyone one uses abbreviations on our beloved site.

So how about fellow pixies letting everyone in on what they all stand for:

ie: LOL can be construed as (Lots of Love) or (Loads of laughs)
so what is it. :confused:

LOL = Laughing out Loud, generally

Usually expanded to, when exceptionally funny... LMAO (laughing my a** off), ROTFL (Rolling on the floor laughing) or ROTFLMAO (rolling on the floor, laughing my a** off).

Or the ever-popular "LMFAO." :D

hmmm, a few of the more popular ones (more in chat, possibly)

BBL= be back later
BF/GF= boy/girl friend
SO= Significant other
BTW= By the way
KWIM= know what I mean
IMO= In my opinion, IMHO= in my honest/humble opinion
IRL= in real life

all I can think of!

IAK, I'm sure I'll get poked at for not adding that one :p *LOL*

If somebody felt like poking around in the archives there is a big list out there somewhere.

Personally I like Tiggers (from Winnie-thePooh) favorite abv. 'TTFN'............. Ta Ta For Now. :)

i had a problem with these, too. i finally decided to do a search on google and i could not believe all the hits it got.
