I'm off to Newfoundland tomorrow night for the well-publicized trip. It just hit me that since I joined this time last year, I HAVE NOT taken a break any where near this long from the site.

Wish me well. I'll be back next Thursday. Initially, when we thought the site was gone for good, I thought to myself "Phew, being away from Pixies while I'm on vacation will help me get de-addicted".

David will understand that I did get home last night but I was so tired (and hungover) that I couldn't think of posting until tonight after work.

Went whale watching, the Regatta, a wedding and saw my five-day old cousin. Lots of beer! All in all, a good trip.

The ending was not fun, however. We were stuck on the tarmac last night for 90 minutes because of a thunderstorm. Man, that was tiring - I wanted a smoke, kids were screaming, it was hot. Gah!

Glad to be back and, so you know, you can survive a week without the Internet, in case anyone was curious! :)
