What kind of bird is the one with blue on it's wings? It's the third picture from the top.
Thanx guys :)
LS ~ the pic above, the blue winged bird in flight, is the same type of bird, some kind of duck |
I liked the Sacred Ibis pretending to be an umbrella, but they're all great.
The close-up of the Muscovy Duck (the one with red patches) came out really well, the detail is outstanding.

PF is known for his affection for K-9 dogs.
I took this pic of a RAAF guard dog a few years ago. It's a beautiful dog with BIG teeth. |
Ibis are ugly damn things, but they are good to make fly *L*
The white duck was fairly calm when approached, great to get shots of! Gorgeous dog OF |
New pics. I love horses! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I understand the shin guards, but the poor horses with the bunny ears?
Horse ear muffs. Muffle noise or keep bugs outta the ears while riding, depending on type used. The ones used on the horse pictured i think are to keep flies/bug etc out
I suspected that they may have been audio-blinders.
It's usually to keep them from getting spooked from applause or other loud noises. I had a friend that was into horse jumping and I remember a few horses being skittish like that.
Yep usually, the horse in the first picture, they are bug type. The last horse look to be audio type
There goes my theory about a equine Bunny Club.
That's too bad, too. I was anxious to meet Hugh Hoofner. :(
