How do spiders get into houses? Do they have scouts? Spend their whole lives trying to find a way in? Or -- even worse -- is it so simple to crawl through cracks in my home that any idiot invertebrate can get in?

Does anyone go into the chat any more

Why did I think it was a good idea to buy my tires at WalMart? Is a few dollars sheaper really worth the poor service?

I avoid Wal*fall*apart like it is the plague. I try and buy from local ma and pop's businesses.

plus Wal*fall*apart's tire warantee is shit. I bought new tires there and a month later, one slipped a belt and although it was a manufacturing problem, they wouldn't replace it because my front end was just barely out of alignment when they took the tire off. I went through great rig-a-ma-roll, sales-pitches, and safety yadda yadda yadda to get that tire put back on so i could go to the local ma and pop's place. I paid a little more, had my alignment checked and he said that it was only slightly out, that a pot-hole could have done. With in 3 months of that the other tires went bad and my local guy put 3 new ones on.

What color pants should I wear with a pink short-sleeve knit shirt?

maddy 07-10-2006 05:35 PM

jeans!

Lilith 07-10-2006 05:39 PM

or pastel plaid bermuda shorts

Lilith 07-10-2006 05:39 PM

then be sure to wake me up before you go go!

maddy 07-10-2006 05:40 PM

the pastel plaid isn't doing it for me... that just makes me want to jump in my car and stalk through the state to find WI just so I could post a picture here of the site.

WildIrish 07-10-2006 05:40 PM

Anything else?

I assume khaki's too?

side note...last time I had a pink izod shirt, I wore it with white pants and a white jacket like Don Johnson :roflmao:

maddy 07-10-2006 05:41 PM

most anything goes with pink... navy, khaki, denim, pastel plaid, seersucker...

Lilith 07-10-2006 05:42 PM

khakis or jeans and your birks

Aqua 07-10-2006 05:54 PM

Why in blue blazes does WI have a PINK shirt?

Oldfart 07-10-2006 06:35 PM

Pink shirt?

Best with a lime green kilt over tiger-stripe urban camo short socks and sandals.

Oh, and don't forget the matching paisley parasol.

Did you say Don King or Don Johnson? :

The best thing you can wear with a pink shirt is an overcoat.

No way I'm wearing that!

I wore it earlier this week with my faux fur tanktop.

AngelicVampires 07-12-2006 04:47 PM

Ah...so many thoughts in my head right now. I'd tell you all about them but that would probably be one loooooooooooooooong post, lol.

WildIrish 08-30-2006 01:00 PM

Does a Grilled Stuft Burrito qualify you for the carpool lane?

wyndhy 08-30-2006 01:11 PM

only if you glue yarn on it for hair.

mayhem1978 08-30-2006 01:16 PM

osuche 08-30-2006 02:27 PM

Why the heck does a Boca burger (tofu) also taste like it has gristle in it? Have htey started adding cartilage to tofu? :spin:

Are you sure that tofu isn't just a fancy way of saying, "tough?" Hmmm.

maddy 08-30-2006 07:04 PM

I was going to say are you sure it's tofu and not some bean concoction? I have some boca burgers collecting freezer burn in my freezer, and I think they are more of a bean variety.

maddy 08-30-2006 07:05 PM

On second thought, maybe I'm not aware of what tofu is derived from, must go google.

osuche 08-30-2006 07:21 PM

I think tofu is made of soy...the source is soybeans.

There are also bean boca burgers, and I like those better...but they're not what my husband bought. :( The spicy black bean ones are good!

maddy 08-31-2006 05:46 AM

I never got to googling, but I was thinking soy, and was about to say something about boca being soy and bean based and thought.... hmmm.... someone out there is going to say "silly girl, soy is tofu!"

osuche 08-31-2006 02:14 PM

Why do I always get sleepy after lunch? And why don't adults get nap time too?

Steph 08-31-2006 02:52 PM

I've been thinking about Lil.

High stress affects the heart. I live in a crazy 'hood & see crazy things every day. So does Lil. Guess I'm concerned about me, too.

*shrug*

wyndhy 08-31-2006 03:12 PM

i have a random hug for steph. (((hug)))

maddy 08-31-2006 06:29 PM

how can you reach an adult age with a spouse, children, high ranking job and still be as sharp as a bowling ball?

maddy 09-14-2006 08:04 PM

how scary it must be to start your life all over at 60.

Lilith 09-15-2006 03:04 AM

How brave you must be to try^^^

osuche 09-15-2006 09:58 AM

Why do bad things always happen in 3's?
