Catch 22---I have to agree with Ousche & others.I am American &
can't stand mayonaise(sp?).If I order a sandwich out,I tell them,
when placing my order,without mayonaise or onions.I have returned sandwiches, that were given,to me,that had them on.
One place,wiped them off,and returned the sandwiches to me! I
refused them!I told them that now the flavor was on them & I
wanted new sandwiches.The proprietor said-"What do I do with
these?"I told him that wasn't my problem,if he gave the right order,it wouldn't have happened.Of course,it didn't help,that my
buddy,was standing next to me,laughing his ass off. Irish

I lived in Belgium for a few months, and I *know* they do it too. Damn un-American if you ask me. :D But then again, so many things that I like are un-American. Like Belgian moules and frites (damn, I miss those). Not to mention the beer...

Just can't pass up the chance to make fun of the French, especially since my boss is Parisian...although he is an exception to the rule.
