AZ, he was 11 or 12 years old which is quite respectable for a rottweiler. I do miss him, but I know he was well loved by all of us in the family.

PantyFanatic 04-01-2015 05:54 PM

LS, the other matters can go forward with better results but the loss of your pup is a final end. Glad you are left with good memories.

Sorry for your loss. I know when we lost our cat, it was a painful experience and we still miss the little guy. Let's face it ... pets very quickly become part of our families.

Lord Snow 04-02-2015 04:33 PM

I got on the bike for the first time this season. I can't wait to get her out on the open road.

jseal 04-03-2015 03:35 AM

Memories of riding along, going wherever, on sunny Spring afternoons! Those were good days! :thumb:

Lord Snow 04-03-2015 05:22 AM

There's nothing like it, and hopefully I'll be able to keep riding for a very long time.

jseal 04-05-2015 11:40 AM

A beautiful Spring day!

BeachSex 04-10-2015 06:33 PM

My wife flashing me out of the blue. Always a very welcome sight! :boobs:

jseal 04-12-2015 04:51 AM

^^^ LOL! Good for you! :thumb:

Having my head on the fucking chopping block again but at least I'm wearing a tiara

A young man graduating from college and his father's pride.

AZRedHot 05-17-2015 12:09 AM

A Brian Regan comedy special. He's always been so good. Though I get annoyed that I miss half the visual (he's an excellent mime) because my eyes are shut from laughing so hard. :)

Lilith 05-21-2015 09:25 PM

A certain AQUAtic visitor here visiting me with his best kiddo.

dicksbro 05-21-2015 11:28 PM

Tell AQUA that we said hello and that we've missed him here.

Happy about ^^^^ that and happy for all the yard work I got done yesterday (mowed both front and back yards, trimmed the bushes, and, cut down some tree branches that were close to our power line) ... plus washed my car. :)

Oldfart 05-22-2015 07:21 PM

When you've finished there DB I've a couple of acres in need of TLC.

jseal 05-30-2015 01:13 PM

My daughter, who hasn't lived at this address for many years, just received a jury duty notice.

Should I bring my own scissors or do you have a lawn tractor with a mowing deck? :D

Oldfart 05-31-2015 12:52 AM

Ride-on mower is still 6 months away. BIG scissors maybe.

dicksbro 06-01-2015 02:30 AM

Like this?

:D

Oldfart 06-01-2015 02:40 AM

Now that's a chopper.

dicksbro 06-01-2015 11:47 PM

Of course, you have to wonder about the engine.

After all, didn't your mama tell you not to run with scissors?

Oldfart 06-02-2015 02:39 AM

No, we couldn't afford scissors. I had to run with a breadknife and call out click click.

dicksbro 06-03-2015 02:21 AM

We just borrowed our scissors from neighbors but the folks had to agree to let me cut their lawn, too. Sometimes worked days getting both done.

Last night's concert: Sibelius: Symphony #7 // Shostakovich: Cello Concerto #1 // Beethoven: Symphony #5

I still don't "get" Shostakovich (I wonder if I ever will), but the two symphonies were very enjoyable. Both ended in C Major, but Sibelius' was somber while Beethoven's was triumphant.

dicksbro 06-07-2015 03:34 AM

Yesterday afternoon, our nephews wedding in Decatur. Really enjoyable.

sodaklostsoul 06-10-2015 09:06 PM

Being able to walk in the entryway and use the closet there. One project down!

dicksbro 06-11-2015 02:13 AM

Seeing soda with us again.

Oldfart 06-11-2015 05:10 AM

The one piece of Shostakovich that always brings a smile to me.

Beautiful! ^^^^ Simply beautiful. Brought a smile to my face as well. Thanks OF!

Actually it was yesterday ... had my normal visit with my family doctor. Everything looked good. Weight ... getting down a little each time. About 8 pounds from my las appointment with him. Blood sugar and A1C ... good. Blood pressure ... good. Heart ... sounded strong and good. Sounds like you're stuck with me a while longer. ;)

(Hopefully, quite a while longer. :wish: )

PantyFanatic 06-21-2015 06:40 AM

Yesterday I finished a maintenance job that could have been much more of a problem and expensive. :cabbagep:

AZRedHot 06-26-2015 10:28 PM

The Supreme Court ruling regarding marriage equality. The announcement that there will be at least 4 Star Trek movies (the new series). A nice visit with a bandmate over ice cream. Lunch with girlfriends. It was a good day, and they've been all too scarce of late.

Lilith 07-26-2015 05:12 PM

Getting the syllabus and website for my first course as adjunct set up.

AZRedHot 07-27-2015 10:54 PM

Dinner with my favorite first husband.

dicksbro 07-31-2015 12:46 AM

Watching a Mike Hammer movie (DVD) starring Stacy Keech. Love that series.
