Just came by to say hi and happy thanksgiving to you all!

Feeling really, really laid back today. Sort of wish I didn't have to get dressed and do anything. My best friend is home for the weekend so I'll go out to his folk's place to watch football and play PS2 games with his son. As much as I'd like to be lazy and just sit around here, I can't wait to get out there. :nana:

Dog has decided he wants to sit in my lap. It's the first time he's even acknowledged that I exist today.

Just watched the Giants choke against the Titans at work.

Just finished a shower - waiting for Mr Osuche to come back from Cleveland so that we can eat our dinner together as a family

I'm thinking of our 20th anniversary today. We didn't really do anything special...we just kind of did what we wanted to. Toured 2 new Wal*marts; and had a late lunch at Chili's. While I sit here at my keyboard, chillin' with friends...hub is having a blast playing Sniper Elite in the living room. :) It's been a good, low stress day.

Sort of worried about my little buddy Sarge, I don't think he's feeling well. He wasn't himself all day yesterday and he doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with me this morning. Hopefully we don't have to take a trip to the v-e-t.

Just got into work a couple of hours ago. I'll have to haul my suitcase back with me on the bus tonight.


I'm tired -- got up at 2:15 am local time. :(

While I sit here, I think I should go and make some muffins. Good low fat bran and raisin. that should fix me. lol

You said muffins!!!!!!! mmmmmmmmmm
Fat Daddy's Muffins.......golden yellow with chocolate chips and chocolate drizzled on top. *sigh*

Still up -- I leave in about 30 minutes to pick up Mr Osuche. I'll be happy to end this day...started at 2 am local time, flights until 11:30, then BART. Work until 6 pm, took the bus home, unpacked and cleaned up a bit, paid bills, went to a 7:30-8:30 pm talk, and then to the gym until 9:30. Finally got dinner.

Now I am checking in until I leave at 10:50 pm for the airport.

I think I'll sleep well tonight :)

I think there will be two trips to the doctor in my plans for the day. IowaBeagle still isn't acting right and has run away from me twice already this morning when I went to pet him. Looks like the trip to the v-e-t is going to happen for the little guy today. He's never a big fan of that, can't say I blame him. If I associated a place with having my balls clipped I think I'd be a bit upset about going back as well. :(

IowaMan isn't doing a whole lot better than his beagle this morning. Was sort of hoping to make it through at least this next week without getting sick. Three of the last four years I've ended up in a damn hospital either for Thanksgiving or the week following. :mad:

As I sit here Sarge just came out of the bedroom and appears to be in a good mood. I think I'll let him enjoy it for a bit until I put his drops in his ear.

IN late to work this morning because I just couldn't make myself get out of bed...I need to get to the bus ASAP!

Feeling sort of woozy and probably could use some rest.

I'm eating a couple of dried, flattened bananas. :)

Hoping this last coat of paint looks okay once it dries. Sort of rushed through this last coat. Laughing at the Bon Jovi song "Social Disease" as it blasts from my stereo. Brings back a funny memory from my college days.

Also just realized I'm starting to worry about something I've got going on later this afternoon/tonight. Nothing to do with a social disease though. Damn, I hope not anyway. :roflmao:

Trying to figure out why I really feel like I've got a hangover this morning even though I didn't have a thing to drink last night. :shrug:

FInished up the extra credit essay - now I just have to complete the heavy lifting one...a paper on Leadership and my CEO. <sigh> As if I didn't get enough of him at work! :spin:

Pissed. Just pissed. Too pissed to work.

Bored beyond belief. Even the dog is bored, I just asked him if he wanted to go outside and he yawned and went back over to his pillow to lie down. Oh well, the day has barely started and I know it's going to get better.

Oh my good Lord, I don't know what this beagle ate but it's making me want to run for cover!!!!! :faint:
