I wander off for a couple of days and look what happens again.

Glad to see they weren't as bad as they could have been.

We had a big one here in '74 which effectively destroyed Darwin, with a death toll

probably in the hundreds. The town had so many itinerants, indiginous and

people hiding from things down south, we'll never know for sure.

Cyclone Tracy was a Cat 4.

I was at Myrtle Beach for a Bachelorette party...and we got evacuated. The one day I was there....I saw tornado's, water spouts & Hurricane wind and rain!!!! I only have one thing to say......



DAMN YOU CHARLEY!


We ended up spending the rest of our time in Columbia SC! DAMN HURRICANE!

The eye of charley went over our house and boy was it strange. Heavy winds and rain then calm for a few minutes the wind and rain from the other way.
Lost our office , house roof, pool cage, two windows, grage door bent. But glad to survive
