Yep, Ashnak would have fit in right well with the Uruk-Hai. Beastly little fellow.

Well I went and saw it today. It seemed to me that elves were not at all like the book. More like Star Trek Vulcans. Other then that was a good watch. Better on the big screen. I saw the first film on cable TV in the States.
