You are the herpetologist among us Gekkogecko. I thought the milk snake had colors like the coral snake (in a different pattern ;) ), but that’s what I got when I looked it up. :confused:

King snake is the imposter whose colors mock the coral. We have had coral snakes in our yard.

A Scarlet Red is also close to a Coral Snake! I was trying to remember the rhym when I found a snake outside. Red touches black friend of Jack. Red touches yellow your a DEAD fellow! ;) Needless to say I found out it was a Scarlet Red.
