Many Retailers Will Not Carry Game
POSTED: 12:29 p.m. EDT October 15, 2002
Hookers, strippers and nudity could be under your Christmas tree.
Acclaim Entertainment is out with a new video game that includes live-action footage of naked women. The game is called BMX Triple-X, and will be marketed with the catch-phrase "Keep It Dirty."
But The Wall Street Journal reports some retailers won't be keeping it at all. KB Toys is refusing to sell BMX Triple-X and Wal-Mart isn't likely to carry it either.
It will be available for a variety of game systems, including Nintendo. A U.S. Nintendo spokesman says it's for adults only, and likens it to an R-rated movie.
