View Full Version : Converting 2D digital photographs to 3D

Hey, I've been playing with this idea for a while now, and I've finally figured out how to make 2D digital photos into 3D using Photoshop. These are "Stereograms" and don't require any glasses, you just cross your eyes and make two photos into one 3D pic! It takes a little time to get used to it, but it's said that it's very good for your eyes (it excersizes the muscles).

Here's one I did of Raven18 - (One of my favorite pixies by the way) This is a pic she posted here. I just wanted to show how almost any pic can be converted to a stereogram.

That is freaky ....Awesome, but freaky. Now my eyeballs feel like they are in the wrong sockets :spin:

And that's good for you? By the time I got the hang of it...I'd lost the hang of looking at 2D pictures! Does that eyeball trick come with a focus knob? lmao

Call it what you will but I don't think you should twist it completely around for it might break off. :blink:

Oh man...that's pretty cool! I love those pics you have to stare at for some time and suddenly you'll see ocean waves and shit. This reminded me of that.

I used to smoke a lot of pot and had more free time than I do now...damn I miss those days!
