Got pretty chilly here this morning, some say in the lower 40's, so I decided I'd better get some pictures of our flowers before we got a frost and lost them all. Then I thought, why not share them with all of you ... so here goes ...

Oh WOW db!!!!!! Your yard is beautiful! I love the marigolds the best cause the colors are the only colors I put in my gardens.....well....mostly only reds and yellows...I have hybrids of certain flowers that I can't account for...(damn squirrels and chipmunks..movin all my bulbs!..lol). And then I do have blue "butterfly bushes" and white "chocolate euphatorium"...(sp?....hmmm?).......but for the most part......I have red and yellow everywhere! Black eyed Susan's.......forsythia.....dalia's....roses.....New Guinea impatience.....etc...etc.....

Anyway.......these pics are stunning.....the flowers are amazing....and I can just imagine all the bees around your house all this summer! LOL!

There have been a bunch of bees ... ouch, ouch. :D

In fact, backed off a bit on the pictures because some looked like they were taking an unusual interest in my presence. I decided to ... ahem ... let them BEE. :)

The bees have been all abuzz over the bright yellow flowers that appear everyday on my loofah vines too. I love to watch the big fat fuzzy bumblebees.

dicksbro I love the zinnias, they always make me think of the kid's garden we had at my old school. We always planted zinnias all around the border.

I love that these lillies bloom just as falls arriving. I have a boquet of them on my table now.

Dicksbro and Lilith, thanks for sharing your gardens with us. Fall is in the air here. Our maple trees are starting to turn a scarlet red. Our mums are coming out in bright yellows and oranges. Wish I had the means to capture the beauty and post it here! Oh well, one day perhaps!! Again thanks for the beauty!!

Lilith, those pictures are terrific. Thank you. Boy, that bee in your first picture looks familiar. That wasn't Sam was it?
